Register today for the Race for the Rivers. You can paddle in the 20 mile race starting at the Weldon Spring Boat ramp or the 30 mile race starting at the ramp at Klondike Park.
This year we are also introducing Sprints from Bishop’s Landing to the ramp at Blanchette landing in DuSable Park. Sprints will depend on the river levels. Sign up in person on the day of the race. While we will be timing them, there will not be official times, heats or prizes for winners. This is the perfect opportunity to challenge a friend, try out a new kayak or just get out on the river and get a taste of what a big river race is like.
The festival is returning as well. We will have live music as well as our favorite DJ from the Irish Xiles. Beer will be provided by Paddle Stop Brewery! There will be food and our PIRATES are back complete with canon!
