Each Spring for the last twenty years, red and green mesh bags of trash and piles of tires have popped up all over St Charles County in a massive effort to keep trash from reaching our waterways. This year will be no exception.  Hundreds of volunteers will fan out across the county during our annual massive trash clean up.

You can participate by following the link above which provides all of the information to sign up  at Cottleville, Dardenne Prairie, Lake St Louis, O’Fallon, St Charles, St Charles County Parks or Wentzville.  You may also choose to come out to the Audubon Center or or Cora Island.  Times and Registration procedures vary by location so follow the links provided.

No matter where you volunteer make sure to dress for the weather, wear sturdy boots or shoes, bring a water bottle and wear your gloves.  Be sure to check registration deadlines to make sure you get in on this year’s t-shirt featuring the the twentieth anniversary logo!
