This month, November, the speaker series in St. Charles meets on the FIRST Wednesday of the month. The social hour starts at 6:00p.m. followed by the presentation at 7:00p.m.
This will be an informal gathering of friends and fellow river lovers to share stories and photos of river hero Greg Poleski. Confluence Trash Bash is the annual clean-up in North St. Louis and St. Louis County. All are welcome, no experience required! Individual volunteers, civic groups and youth organizations are encouraged to attend. We are finally able to get back to Cora Island after several years. Lots of heavy metal and tires have drifted in and we want to get a start on pulling it out before the Spring floods move things around again. The trash is spread out over two miles so there will plenty of walking. […]
