Honeysuckle Hack

Join Greenway Network to remove invasive honeysuckle from Wapelhorst Park! (1875 Muegge Rd) This non-native plant is taking over and choking out the native understory plants, creating an ecological disaster. Help stop this weed from taking over our park and have some fun too! For ages 12 and up, but minors must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

Be sure to dress for the weather. Wear sturdy shoes, and bring a water bottle and work gloves. Also bring clippers/loppers if you have them, but Greenway Network will have some available. Some snacks will be provided. Be prepared to get outside and make a difference!
