Once again volunteers will come out from across St Charles County to pick up trash along our rivers and streams. While the Greg Poleski Memorial Clean-up at Cora Island is being rescheduled (unfortunately, the parking lot is too muddy as of Friday afternoon 3/24, and if it continues to rain, the access road can become impassible), the area municipalities should still be holding their clean-up events, listed below. We would love it if you would participate at one of those sites. You may contact the municipalities directly to see if they can use your help, or you can check on the Mission: Clean Stream and/or their Facebook pages or websites for updates.
Whether you want a simple walk in the park with your young scouts or your want to get down and dirty and tackle the tough trash there are options for you. Be sure to dress for the weather. Wear sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle. Bring gloves. Be prepared to get outside and make a difference. We hope to see you soon!
