Our founder and friend, Greg Poleski, was instrumental in getting Cora Island added to the Big Muddy Wildlife Refuge. It is a place that is near and dear to our hearts. We have spent many wonderful hours there enjoying the beauty and doing our best to make it a better place. We will be going back again this January to continue cleaning up flood trash and an historic dump site.
Dress for the weather. Be prepared to walk. The site we are working is a ways away from from the parking lot. Bring water and your gloves. Lunch will be provided.
