Join Kelly Dunlap\, Coordinator of the Peruque Creek Watershed Alliance and City of Wentzville staff member\, for a look at the challenges facing the watershed and the collaborative efforts underway to improve water quality. You’ll learn:\nHow watershed health affects local parks\, streams\, lakes\, wildlife\, and communities\nWhat projects\, grants\, and community initiatives are helping reduce pollution and improve water quality\nPractical steps you can take to protect Peruque Creek right in your own backyard\nHow to get involved with ongoing efforts to restore and care for this important local resource \nWhether you’re a resident\, paddler\, angler\, park user\, or simply curious about the waterways that connect our communities\, this presentation will provide an opportunity to learn how local action can create lasting improvements throughout the watershed.
